About the Role:

Gravity Forms is seeking a talented Content Writer to join our marketing team. In this role, you’ll create high-quality content for our blog, website, and other channels, and help us execute our content strategy. Experience with WordPress is a plus, and you should be comfortable writing 2-3 blog posts a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Create High-Quality Content:

  • Write engaging and valuable content, including blog posts, eBooks, Mission Plans, PDFs, newsletters, ad hoc emails, web pages, and social media posts.
  • Topics include Gravity Forms tutorials, product releases, case studies, and co-marketing campaigns.

Manage the Blog:

  • Collaborate with the Marketing Lead and team to plan and execute the blog content strategy.
  • Own the blog content calendar and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate with internal contributors, co-marketing partners, community add-on developers, and freelancers.
  • Work with the Product team to promote new releases.
  • Create content briefs, manage freelance writers, and edit their work.
  • Seek out and manage contributions from community developers and customers.
  • Ensure all content is reviewed and polished before publication.

SEO and Analytics:

  • Be the SEO expert, driving organic traffic to our blog.
  • Develop strategies to optimize and repurpose content for better SEO.
  • Track and report on content performance using tools like Ahrefs, HubSpot, and Google Analytics.
  • Use analytics to inform future content planning and drive traffic and revenue.

Engage with the Community:

  • Promote content on social media by creating, scheduling, and publishing posts.
  • Plan and execute monthly newsletters to reach a broad audience.
  • Support co-marketing opportunities and create content for partner campaigns.
  • Engage with Certified Developers and showcase their products.
  • Assist with virtual and in-person events as needed.

You:

  • A skilled writer with strong editing skills and a knack for crafting well-researched, coherent blog articles.
  • Capable of explaining technical concepts in an easy-to-understand way.
  • Excellent at managing multiple projects and content contributors with various deadlines.
  • Proactive and able to pitch new ideas while running with assigned tasks.
  • A team player with strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledgeable in WordPress, with a willingness to become an expert in Gravity Forms and Gravity Flow to effectively communicate how they solve customer problems.
