Pay Range
$80,000 – $110,000 per year, based on experience.

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Exercise Physiologist to join our team. In this position, you will lead VO2 Max tests and assess patients’ cardiorespiratory fitness and overall health. You will create personalized exercise and wellness programs to help patients reach their health and fitness goals. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and promote long-term wellness.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary: $80,000 to $110,000 annually, based on experience

What You’ll Do

  • Meet with patients one-on-one to discuss their fitness, medical history, and wellness goals.
  • Administer and analyze VO2 Max tests to assess cardiorespiratory endurance and metabolic efficiency.
  • Explain test procedures, ensure patient safety, and collect accurate data.
  • Provide detailed feedback on assessment results and create personalized exercise programs.
  • Educate patients about exercise, recovery, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
  • Offer ongoing support and motivation to help patients achieve their fitness goals.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nutritionists, and other healthcare professionals to create integrated care plans.
  • Keep detailed records of patient assessments and progress.
  • Attend patient care meetings for comprehensive health management.
  • Complete any additional assigned tasks or projects.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, or a related field.
  • Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or similar organization is preferred.
  • Experience conducting VO2 Max tests and interpreting metabolic data.
  • Strong knowledge of exercise programming and human physiology.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to provide high-quality service to clients.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, flexible start-up environment.
  • Passion for the science of aging and longevity.
  • Availability to work in our New York City clinic 5 days a week, with no nights or weekends.
  • Experience conducting patient consultations.
