Job Purpose:

In this role, you will be responsible for important tasks at the terminal. This includes opening and closing twist locks on containers, as well as performing various other duties as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Office Work: Assist with basic office tasks and paperwork.
• Security: Help maintain safety and security at the terminal.
• Driving: Operate vehicles with Code 10-14 licenses, ensuring safe transport of goods.
• Electrical Engineering: Assist with electrical tasks and repairs (if applicable).
• Boilermaking: Help with metalworking and repairs (if applicable).
• Cleaning: Ensure buildings and containers are kept clean and organized.
• Machine Operation: Operate various machines safely.
• Safety Officer Duties: Follow safety protocols and help promote a safe working environment.
• Twist Locks: Open and close twist locks on container wagons as required.

Qualifications:

• You should have completed Grade 10 (Level 2).

Skills Needed:

• Cleaning Procedures: Understand how to clean effectively and safely.
• Time Management: Be able to manage your time well to complete tasks on schedule.
• Reading and Writing: Basic literacy skills to understand instructions and complete forms.
• Decision Making: Ability to make good choices quickly.
