Focus on our Niger Activities

PUI has been present in Niger since 2017 as part of its regional strategy in the Central Sahel, responding to deteriorating security situations in the “3 borders” area. We implement health programs to assist vulnerable populations, with a coordination office in Niamey, operational bases in Ouallam and Torodi (Tillabéri region), and one in Maradi. Supported by BHA and CDCS, PUI’s actions aim to improve healthcare access, strengthen community surveillance systems, and sustainably enhance health structures in Tillabéri and Maradi regions. Our teams reinforce local healthcare systems through support for regional health centers and mobile clinics, ensuring vital healthcare access.
