Job Summary

SOFTWAVE TECH SOLUTIONS LTD is seeking a skilled Web Designer to design, develop, and maintain modern, user-friendly websites and web interfaces for clients and internal projects. The role involves working closely with developers, consultants, and clients to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

 

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Design visually appealing and responsive websites and web pages

Create website layouts, wireframes, and user interface designs

Develop and maintain websites using HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript

Ensure websites are mobile-friendly and compatible with different browsers

Collaborate with IT consultants and developers to implement design solutions

Update and maintain existing websites based on client requirements

Optimize website performance, usability, and accessibility

Follow branding guidelines and ensure consistent design standards

Test websites and fix design or layout issues

Keep up to date with the latest web design trends and technologies

 

Skills and Requirements

Proven experience as a Web Designer or similar role

Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript

Experience with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar

Understanding of UX/UI design principles

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Good communication and teamwork skills

Attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills

 

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Web Design, Graphic Design, IT, or a related field (or relevant experience)

At least 1–2 years of relevant work experience preferred
