Job Description:
We are looking for a Manager / Senior Manager – Direct Tax for a leading Real Estate organization based at BKC, Mumbai.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in direct taxation, preferably within the real estate sector, and should be well-versed with compliance, calculations, and statutory filings.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling TDS calculations and compliance
Preparation and filing of TDS returns and related reconciliations
Finalization of accounts and coordination with auditors
Ensuring compliance with Income Tax Act and related regulations
Handling tax assessments, notices, and queries
Supporting audits and internal reviews
Coordination with internal teams and external consultants
Key Requirements:
CA qualified
3–5 years of relevant experience in Direct Tax
Mandatory experience in Real Estate industry
Strong knowledge of TDS, IT returns, and accounts finalization
Good communication and coordination skills
Candidates should be currently based in Mumbai
