Position Summary
The Copywriter develops clear, compelling, and conversion‑focused content that supports Prolific Works’ marketing, product, and community initiatives. This role blends creative storytelling with data‑driven messaging to engage authors, publishers, and readers across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Content
Write engaging copy for email campaigns, landing pages, newsletters, and promotional announcements
Craft messaging that highlights platform features, author success stories, and new product updates
Develop copy for social media posts, ads, and community engagement initiatives
Maintain a consistent brand voice that reflects Prolific Works’ mission of empowering authors
Author & Reader Communications
Create clear, helpful content that guides authors through giveaways, onboarding, and platform tools
Write reader‑facing copy that promotes book discovery, featured titles, and curated collections
Support customer success teams with polished templates, FAQs, and help‑center articles
Content Strategy & Editorial
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to plan content calendars and campaign messaging
Research publishing trends, author needs, and reader behavior to inform content direction
Edit and proofread all written materials for clarity, accuracy, and tone
Develop storytelling frameworks that strengthen brand identity and user engagement
Product & UX Writing
Write concise, user‑friendly microcopy for product interfaces, tooltips, and feature explanations
Translate technical concepts into accessible language for authors and readers
Ensure all product copy supports intuitive navigation and a positive user experience
Analytics & Optimization
Monitor performance metrics for email, landing pages, and campaigns
Use A/B testing to refine subject lines, CTAs, and messaging strategies
Continuously optimize content based on engagement data and user feedback
