Educational Qualification: Masters/Bachelors Degree in Computers
We are seeking a Computer Programmer to develop and maintain custom software applications that support aluminum extrusion operations and production systems. The role involves building scalable tools, integrating systems, and improving operational efficiency through automation and digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop custom applications for die management, press scheduling, ERP integration, and quality control
Analyze existing systems to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement
Design and develop software using technologies such as Python, C#, or VB.NET
Integrate applications with PLC, MES, and ERP systems for real-time data exchange
Build and maintain SQL databases to manage production and operational data
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to gather system requirements
Troubleshoot software issues and support shop-floor systems
Maintain technical documentation and version control for developed applications
Requirements:
Experience with programming languages such as Python, C#, or VB.NET
Knowledge of SQL and database development
Understanding of system integration (ERP, MES, PLC preferred)
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work with cross-functional technical teams
