Job Summary
The Classroom Teacher is responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating lessons in line with the school curriculum. The teacher will create a positive learning environment, support students’ academic and personal development, and maintain discipline in the classroom.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the approved curriculum
Prepare lesson notes, schemes of work, and teaching materials
Teach and manage classroom activities effectively
Assess and evaluate students’ performance regularly
Maintain accurate records of students’ progress
Manage classroom behavior and ensure discipline
Provide guidance and support to students
Communicate effectively with parents and school management
Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities
Ensure students’ safety and well-being at all times
🎓 Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of NCE, B.Ed, or equivalent qualification
TRCN certification (added advantage)
Minimum of 1–3 years teaching experience
Strong knowledge of subject area and curriculum
Good classroom management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, creativity, and passion for teaching
